All major game settings are stored in a file named ''''settings.cfg'''' located in the game installation directory. This page hopes to provide a comprehensive list of commands and their usage. Most can be adjusted via the in-game settings menu, others have to be set manually. A blank file with only the needed commands can be accepted as well, the rest will be set to internal defaults and written when the game loads. The file is by default located in the path '''C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Lightspeed Frontier\settings.cfg''' on Windows. ==General Commands== Resolution=1920x1080 Can be used to set any custom resolution, provided that the launcher is disabled as it will override it and use its own list of suggested ones. Skip-Tutorial=false Pause-On-Lost-Focus=false Continues to run the game in the background while alt-tabbed or unfocused in any other way. Framerate-Limit=60 Custom framerate limit, will be overriden by vsync if enabled. Servo-Vol=1.0 Volume of the turret servo sound effects. Default Range: 0.0 - 1.5 Inventory-Filter-Mode=false Specular-Maps=true Toggles all specular and environment maps. Lens-Flare=true Music-Volume=0.0 Default Range: 0.0 - 2.0 Gamma=1.2 Default Range: 0.2 - 2.0 Camera-Shake=1.0 Default Range: 0.0 - 2.0 Master-Volume=0.305682 Default Range: 0.0 - 2.0 LockOn-Camera=true Enables camera tracking the object that has been locked-on. Bloom=true VSync=true Borderless=true HQ-Particles=true Disabling this will lower the general amount of particles spawned. FOV=70 Default Range: 10 - 170 Mouse-Sensitivity=0.85 Default Range: 0.0 - 1.0 Anti-Aliasing=4 Default Values: 4, 8, 16 Skip-Launcher=false Dynamic-Shadows=true Fullscreen=false ==Special Commands== UseJoysticks=true Enables joysticks. Warning: experimental. WindowedPositionOverride=-1,-1 A way to manually set the game window's position when using windowed or borderless mode. Both of the values need to be positive for it to become enabled. Usage example: WindowedPositionOverride=200,50 WikiPrintout=true Prints out a special file named wiki_module_output.txt which contains the default wiki code for all ship and station modules. Once set the game will load and exit upon printing the file.
