Systems are a core element of exploration in Lightspeed Frontier. Each system can have space stations, ores, and enemy ships to attack, to further your adventures in space.

- Nebula (systems that reside inside a galactic scale nebula and have a different skybox, as well as a higher spawn rate of nebulas)
- Premade (custom handmade systems that are not precedurally generated and will appear the same in every galaxy)
